Ben they've got plenty of others that would do a great job for most mid-lower places Premiership teams, let alone us. Those that spring to mind are James, Begovic, Kaboul, Ben Haim, Hreidarsson, Boateng and O'Hara. They've also got Danny Webber and Tommy Smith who might be useful squad players, especially if we lose Chops or McCormack in Jan.

Wages would be the problem of course, however whatever we could offer would be better than the f**k all they're getting at the moment!!

I bet the likes of Stoke, Hull, Fulham etc are poised ready to pillage them.

Totally grabbing at straws but if Portsmouth FC is liquidated does that mean their FA Cup record is expunged?

If so do we now have 2 FA Cup Wins?

I maybe wrong on this, but Im certain years ago the club under Milan Mandaric's control offered the fans a lifetime season ticket scheme at a ridiculous cost and its come and bite them in the arse as they don't have gate money anymore. I bet you that lifetime income went with Mandaric when he left.

I fear for Pompey as I cannot see a way out for them but it must be worth having a look at some of their squad.

Yes I remember something about that. Was it £1500 for a lifetime ticket?
