I doubt people will slag off real radio, but I'm sure people will come on here to have a go at Carl until he signs for us or another club

I don't think anyone's laying the blame at Carl's door for announcing it. First I heared of it on the other board was some geezer on the phone to a mate of his, who was talking to some bloke in the Tavi who'd spoken to someone else. Sure, some people were almost daring Carl to confirm - but that's another issue.

Much of the animosity over there has been reserved for Steve Tucker/Mark Bloom for appearing to pick up on it and run with it all the way to Talk Sport and beyond.

I think similar animosity WILL be directed at RR and Gilo if this proves to be a case of them re-hashing the same rumour.

Sincerely hope it's right, but I want to get off this rollercoaster until I see Bellamy standing next to DJ wearing a City shirt.
