well, he's not in the Teams 25 but is still contracted to Man City, so I suppose if the club order him back to HQ - not much he can do about it.

The club not releasing any sort of statement may be one of keeping their cards close to their chest.

on the other hand its been the media hype that has brought on this mass frenzy, so the club in all honesty have done nothing wrong if it does not materalise.
