GOOD LUCK TO THE CARDIFF FANS NEXT

Postby Forever Blue » Tue Nov 24, 2009 7:21 pm

Monday, when 15 of them attend Cardiff Bay Police Station 9.15am. They have all been summoned there for the trouble at Swindon Town away in this seasons pre-season friendly. Yet Swindon fans did at least 3 attacks on them first. Not Guilty lads.

Good luck guys. This would be the only instance that I wished I followed a different team. Treatment of our fans can be shocking on times.

My mate is head steward at STFC. He told me on the day that it was STFC fans being gobby but the police wanted to nick as many CCFC as possible.

It does seem strange if that was the case.

Cardiff Police were very very tollerent to the Bristol Rovers supporters who were hurling abuse at them in central. Shame other forces dont take the same attitude.

I think our coppers know that, although not nice, it's better to take a load of abuse on the chin without reacting, than getting overzealous like many othe forces (WMP, SYP ahem, ahem), and potentially lighting the blue touch paper.

Good luck lads.
