DEFINATELY, MAYBE.

Mon Aug 16, 2010 7:44 pm

Throughout today I have been told that this deal is still happening and things are progressing. I got told that Bellamys agent, a Man City rep and Cardiff City have been in negotiations this afternoon.

This evening I took a call from a different source to my previous one earlier in the day, saying that Negotiations had taken place and there were 2 interesting points that came up in the conversation, an apparent stumbling block now is the agent, bloody typical, there were many other hurdles but they seem to have been overcome.

Importantly Cardiff City have been able to assure Man City that they have the funding in place to finance the deal.

Now most have been asking me privately do i think this deal will happen, my answer is yes. Does my answer prove that it will happen, dont be so freaking stupid.

If it is the agent that is protracting the deal I am sure that will be resolved by Bellamy, I have not heard Robbie Savage's comment on the matter but if what I am reading by others to be true then this would seem to indicate that the deal is done, I see Corky believes a deal is done too and I respect Corky and trust him and his reputation.

So keep everything crossed if you want this to happen :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

If its only a loan do we have to pay an agents fee? Suppose thats the only thing preventing him coming, his agent wanting Bellamy to make a permanent switch so he can get some cash.

Sorry forgot we had other targets  Yes again been told that Naylor deal will be done and the medical is booked. Again the agent Dave Baldwin is trying to get him a Premier club but so far to no avail.

With Ross, I was told that there were talks with Derby for Ross and Hulse in return but this is apparently off because Hulse is injured, I ahve not heard anything about Cousin though.

I don't see what the agent has to do with it? Surely his part is done when he completed his move to man city? When a player moves club during a contract surely the agreement is purely between the two clubs to agree on the % of wage that each pay? Why would an agent who never brokered a move for the player get a fee?

I heard off a very good mate who never actually says anything about signings...he is 100% that Craig deal is done...and I am confident based on his word...but that's it really...I know as much as the rest of you but I am convinced now that Bellamy will captain City against Donny...the crowd will be 24,000 that is 5,000 or £100,000 more than what was estimated....but like I said before its just my opinion...seeing as its a message board then fans are entitled to opinions even if sometimes they turn out wrong...believe me I have been wrong many times in the past.
