Footballers and their agents

If a footballer wants to go to a certain club and his agent tells him otherwise why doesn't he (the footballer) just tell his agent to get f**ked and find someone else

Probably because having a football agent is like employing someone for your buisness. It's a binding contract which if broken, you can get taken to court over. Sadly the world of football we live in these days, money orientated. Until all parties are happy, Craig will still be a Man City player.

It's a shame really because if a player really wanted to play for a club his agent could be
pricing him out of the market
