Vs Bury in div 3 I think.
We lost 3-0 I think. The mascots were scrapping on the side of the pitch too.

Charlton away 3 years ago. We lost 3-0.
Ridsdale was being choked by someone over his own car then Charlton ambushed us as we were getting on the buses!

I think this is the match report from my first away game.
http://www.buryfc.co.uk/page/MatchRepor ... 33,00.htmlHowever, the main talking point just before Bury's second goal was an off the field event. Robbie the Bobbie and the Cardiff Mascot were fighting - and this was no stunt - they went at each other with punches, kicks and everything. The Bluebird actually lost his head, courtesy of a Robbie the Bobbie right hook. Both mascots were escorted out of the ground, the Welsh mascot actually left with an escort of seven stewards.
Yep, this was definately the game!!
HAHAHAHA!

Torquay away 1st round of league cup 1979 or 1980 maybe ?
Crap game as it was 0 - 0 and the only highlight was the pitch invasion by the City fans in the 2nd half and if I remember none of the pubs were allowing City fans in after the game which wasnt good as our bus wasnt leaving til 11.30

Swansea '91 in the FA cup. I was only 11 and my older brother took me who was 16. Couldn't get on the buses from the train so we had to walk through the town. Absolutly shit myself! But got into school the following Monday and was telling all the kids about the trouble I was involved in! What a buzz! The old man wasn't happy though as my brother talked my old dear into letting me go with him and she didn't tell him! Itwas a good day though and got me hooked onto the city for life, I could right a book off that day alone!

1st league away was County in 82. Lost 1-0 and 16000 somehow made it into Somerton PArk.
My eldest boys first away was Swindon-a 3-0 win.
My middle boys first away was Reading when we scored a last minute goal before their keeper equalised.
Love going away with the City but due to cost dont go that often.
Great away memories include Hereford, Rovurzzz, Swindon, Wolves (Kavs goal followed by riot), Sheff Utd, Reading and Exeter.
Crap memories include Southampton, Cheltenham,Wigan and Watford.

Watford 2006 was my first ever (cos of my work hours I concentrated on home matches then, things are different now
)
We lost 2-1 despite trying to fight back for a draw, it was with the valley rams then the next one was 'that' Wolves away when someone passed out on the bus, the half time hassle at the bar and on the stands and our coach got raided due to that incident on the coach never the less a jolly good day out after we stopped at a Twekesbury pub
That day came after I returned from a trip to Galway in Ireland so what a week
