4-3-3 tomorrow?

Fri Jan 01, 2010 8:54 pm

Fugg it - it's only a cup match - go for it

Marshall

Matthews Hudson Gerrard McNaughton

Burke Ledley Whittingham

Chopra Bothroyd McCormack

On the bench (try using it wisely Dave)

Enckelman, Gyepes, Quinn, Taiwo, Wildig, Etuhu and Feeney

When attacking use the full backs to push on When in defence McCormack and/or Chopra (depending on circumstances) can tuck back in midfield - Job done - but what do I know I never played the game professionally

Yes that would be good to try = Although I am sure we tried that last year with McCormack playing on the left

Whiles't everyone else can see different formations should be used. DJ is a one trick pony.

Actually our formation is a sort of like this

Marshall

Mathhews Hudson Gerrard McNaughton

Rae
Whitts
Burke Ledley

Chopra

Bothroyd

Gavin Rae just stays back on halfway,Ledley makes runs forwards/ into the channels, whitts always tucks inside and chops always is coming deep for the ball.

Our team aren't very rigid in the way the don't stick to their positions, Dave Jones tried to tell you simpletons this before :ayatollah:
4-1-1-2-1-1 is our formation

That's still a four man midfield and we are still getting overrun in there so I think your eyes may be deceiving you.
