It doesn't matter that the guy himself is a hypocritical dick taking advantage of the Bellamy signing. It's not him we owe the money to, it's Motherwell, and as he told the whole country, they're a small club that need the money.

If Sunderland, Birmingham, Celtic, Spurs or Arsenal had done that to us when we had to sell Chopra, Johnson, Loovens, Gunter or Ramsey we'd have been screeming as well.

What should have been a great day has finished up damaging the club's reputation again and will undoubtedly make it harder for us to buy players in the future - clubs will either want the money up front or insist on heavy financial penalties if we don't pay on time.

Sorry but I must disagree with this article. Cardiff City F.C are in the wrong over this deal, and Motherwell are well within their rights. We agreed to pay it back by a certain time, we missed that deadline, and a year later Motherwell are still waiting for their money for a player that we are playing but they still technically own because we haven't paid for him.

The fact Motherwell are on their arse is nothing to do with the present regeime who are systematically working their way through the debts left behind by Ridsdale.

Jenkins stated yesterday at the press conference that the Motherwell debt would be settled within 7 days.
