If Cardiff City had a hall of fame who would you like to see inducted?

I would pick maybe;

Fred Keenor
Phil Dwyer
Graham Kavanagh
Earnie

Personally think Aron Gunnarsson has done enough to warrant a hall of fame position... two promotions, and still playing at the top of his game recently scoring too. What more does he have to do?

Steve Z, yeah get it with Tosh, but he lost a lot of hero status here in the late 70 s and 80 s. I'm sure we all know why. Since then he has never really come out and shown any love for us. A bit like the ex wife. Personally I not fond of him, yet he was a massive hero of mine late 60s and early 70s.Any opinion. ?

Like you, I was a big Toshack fan when he was here and I feel that as a player, he had/still has a status as a Cardiff City player and would probably go into most peoples 'legend' list; although that would have to be open to debate, as he didn't really achieve with Cardiff City because he left just as the club were in a position to succeed only to fail promotion to the top Division in the last game of the season

It wasn't directly his fault because I don't recall him asking to leave (?) but he would probably have made the difference had he stayed for the remainder of that season

Honestly, I don't recall him getting too much stick from Cardiff fans for going to Swansea, as they were at that time still a relatively insignificance to the Bluebirds. It was only later, as they climbed the leagues, that the modern rivalry (mainly between the supporters) began

I think he offered his service (and the Liverpool 'old boys') to Cardiff City at the time but that was rejected by the Board at that time and the rest, as they say, became history

The whole 'City Legend' debate is an interesting one, though :ayatollah:

Whitts has to be in with a shout.

Managers deserve a mention too. Frankie B and Eddie May perhaps?

Has to be Dave Bennett.One of our greatest players of the last 40yrs.Others without question would be Tosh, Phil Dwyer, Stant, Blake, Earnie and Ramsey.Before my time I’d guess it would be Keenor, Friday, Sherwood, Tapscott, Murray,Ferguson, Richards,Allchurch, Clark, Harrington,Len Davies and Anderson.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned Tony Evans, (my favourite player in those days), Peter Sayer, Adrian Alston and Willie Anderson. My favourite player in modern times has to be Peter Whittingham :thumbup: :ayatollah:
