The most annoying thing about today for me was the amount of kids at CCS wearing Man united and Liverpool kits.

Someone behind me was talking about THOMAS Koumas?! and the people sat next to us said, "It's a nice ground isn't it". When my friend asked the boy next to him who his favourite player is, he said Bellamy, when asked who his second favourite was he couldn't name anymore City players. His Mum then said that he supports Liverpool

NO NO NO the reason why half of them were there is because they been in the "fooball week" and they have done practices n stuff - cheaper than paying for childcare and when they were getting picked up they overheard what was happening and joined in.

Woman by me with 3 kids was having 40 fits as she wanted to get home for tea and hadnt planned on being out in the stadium she wernt even intrested nor were the kids but she thought it would keep them out for a little bit and see the inside of the stadium while she was at it........

BUT claire i have to say if my boys were near you - they would have done your head in they did me because if they called him "David" bellamy once they did it a 10000000000 times!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
(they had reason as david bellamy has visited their school so they knew the name) lol - the bloke sat next to them p!$$£d

Well said. I live 2 hours away from the CCS yet my 2 older boys are proud Bluebirds. They get crap off the glory hunters but my oldest proudly tells the muppets-I've seen my team in an FA Cup final. Now 2 fingers to you!

I think it's great that kid will now prob want a city kit next Xmas and will want to drag his eggchasing dad down tithe stadium, who also realises what he's been missing out on. More money and more days like today...

I agree with you about the awareness of our club. I really don't think it's good enough. I'm hoping the Malasians and other board members will also be looking at this in the future (I know they are pretty busy at the moment though )

but if these kids and glory hunters start coming to watch bellamy, then this will increase attendances therefore increase revenue & also sales in the club shop!! so it has to be a good thing even though it is frustrating to see!!

Claire, do you know how embarrased I was that when I went to pick my mate up he was wearing that Kiwi's Rugby top? It was embarrasing! I called him up on it, and he said "It was either that or a Netherlands top". When we were sat down and talking about Man Utd players that had signed for us, he kept referring to Man Utd as "us" or "we".

It is annoying on bbc wales news when they were showing trowbridge wher bellamy trained there were loads of kids there in tottenham, arsenal tops really annoys me they got a good team at a decent level to watch, I admit when I was in primary school I supported man utd as they were always on the tele but at the time I didn't even know city had a team lol we were div 3 at time, when my dad took me I got hooked

I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. When i was in primary school my parents used to take me to watch liverpool regularly. i never really knew cardiff city existed, then i went to watch cardiff when i was about 10 or 11 with a boy i knew from school (who was probably the only city fan at the time) and i loved it. To be honest it probably wasn't the quality of football that attracted me, rather the fact i could throw things and shout, "clemo out" and "sack the board"
But my point is, everyone of has to start somewhere and we're not all children of city fans so cmon give them a break

I wore a cardiff shirt at a southampton v Derby match couple years back Seriously when i was a kid i was a liverpool fan after my 1st city game when i got back from the match that liverpool top was in the bin. Next birthday pressent will be a cardiff season ticket if they are anything like me.

Until Cardiff are in the premier league and having the media exposure that these bigger clubs get then this will never change.
