Puncheon finds Kachunga with a defence-splitting pass on the edge of the area, but the Huddersfield number nine sees his shot magnificently blocked by Bennett.

Huddersfield are coming into this one. The ball pings around the Cardiff box before eventually dropping for Mounie, whose looped effort is palmed over the bar by Etheridge.

Harry Arter has gone into the book for a challenge on Kachunga, who did his bit to try and launch a counter before Mounie’s shot was deflected behind. Corner to Huddersfield comes in but it’s thumped away.

Manga puts the ball over the bar to take it away from Mounie after several Huddersfield corners. Cardiff have their backs against the wall a little bit here.

Hoilett wins a freekick midway inside the Huddersfield half. It’s whipped in from the left by Bennett towards Morrison at the far post. He heads across goal and Bamba slides in, only to tap it at Lossl. Then again, it’s pulled back for offside.

Having been at the heart of a great set-piece move, the skipper should really score here. The corner is whipped in towards the centre-back at the far post, but he can’t get a connection on it and it goes through his legs and out for a goal kick.

Given standard of opposition, this has been one of Cardiff's most disappointing performances of the season thus far? They’re sitting far too deep, letting Huddersfield dominate midfield. Got to play further up and dictate 2nd half @ There for the taking

Brilliant from Hoilett, who holds it up well on the edge of the box. He looks up and floats a ball towards Paterson in the six-yard area, but it’s too close to Lossl, who claims well.
