Revenue for Saturday's game ?

Wed Aug 18, 2010 3:15 pm

IS there some one in the know who will have a decent and accurate idea of how much the game will earn the club on Saturday, and how much of that is extra revenue from the Bellamy signing ?

thanks in advance.

(with Motherwell in mind! ;) )

mmm with my intelligence i cud work it out :D

ready

25,000 fans.

thats an extra 9,000. say average £18 a ticket =£162,000

3000 Bellamy shirts sold £50 a shirt = £150,000

out of the 25,000 fans say half buy a pint or sum food in the ground. at about £2 = £25,000

162,000 + 150,000 + 25,000 = £337,000 :ayatollah:

out of the 25,000 fans say half (the others are eggs and not fans) buy a pint AND sum food in the ground. at about £1.34 = £22,612

if 12,500 people bought a pint thats 12500 x £3.10 = £38,150 plus food - minimum of 80p for snickers = £9,280 = £47,430

What school did you go to ?

Ironic really that the motherwell chairman complained about us signing Bellamy - yet it was his signing that created all the extra revenue for us to be able to pay his debt!!!!

(thats assuming the money will go to motherwell) :?:

yh but from the £400,000 we will get or whatever, u may have to pay, stewards police staff, catering?

wages, food suppliers, beer supliers programme makers etc.

I would say profit would be no where near £400,000 :ayatollah:

It would be reasonable to average the seat price per person at £15 which would cost for policing, stewarding, Utilities and VAT.
