BOBBY REID STARTS & ZOHORE IS ON THE BENCH

Josh Murphy performed well against Bournemouth, so is it a little harsh to drop him to the substitutes’ bench?

Niasse and Decordova-Reid are picking themselves at the moment, so there was always going to be a fall guy. It’s a similar system from Warnock that he used at the Emirates Stadium to great affect a week or two ago.

He’ll hope for a similar performance, but better result than that Arsenal game.

Similar to the awful team we lined up v Newcastle no width seriously I am furious with this lineup no pace through the middle third

I would've just sacrificed Ralls for Arter. Like for like. Same shape and formation as Vs Bournemouth then. Outlets of Murphy and Niasse. Worked well.

But, in Warnock we trust.

Not a good enough lineup. Disappointing we don’t even want to try and win and going for a draw where we will end up conceding and not even have a platform to get back into the game

I'd have swapped Arter in for Gunnarsson or Ralls, but not Murphy!

Just as I was feeling good about things, I came on here and read Barry Welsh 88. I bet young Barry will be happy if we lose so he can be proved right and therefore more knowledgeable than Neil Warnock. Up the City.

Hope you are wrong can't have you being depressed all night! But we have enough on bench if need to change things unless of course we don't turn up as your suggesting we won't.

Did any of you see the Arsenal match or the Bournemouth match ffs negativity didn’t take long to resurface did it

Yea I did and the one win we had out of those two games Murphy was vital

The only way that team can work is in the old xmas tree 4321 formation with Reid and Patterson having free roles behind the striker

Think Reid will get the fee role, Patterson will be tracking back covering Pelts the way he did last week. We’ve got strong options on the bench, I would have gone with Murphy and left Gunnarsson out for Arter but one of them had to give way

Three things have been obvious for months.
I've been pleading that:
1/ Hoilett should not be in the starting
That penny seems to have dropped!
2/ Manga central - injury has resulted in this change!
3/ Have pace in the the team - oops! We lack PACE in the line up.
Leaving Mendez Laing and Murphy (and Zahore) on the bench!
At least Patterson is not central!! But if we are counter attacking we need pace.

Not a bad team but not maximising our potential to counter attack imo. Hopefully if things are not going well Warnock will change it earlier rather than later, and does not turn to Gillett (lacks pace/threat) as first replacement. NW Always seems too leave it very late to put in a sub.

Same lineup that pushed arsenal away. Chill
