Is there two Lee Naylors then? That doesn't sound anything like the one that played for Celtic. I dont think he's ever scored a goal for Celtic from a set-piece free kick and his crosses usually end up in row zz.
He did in all fairness have a very good first season at Parkhead...(About four years ago now) since then he's been pretty diabolical, in fact it's fair to say I've never witnessed a player lose form so comprehensively and over such a short space of time as Naylor did during the close season at the end of his first campaign at Celtic.
I was delighted when Celtic let him go, he'd been so poor these last couple of seasons that he was singled out and ridiculed as a bit of a joke figure by the support at Celtic...Which says something considering how fuckin useless the rest of the team were!
We all know Jones has got a bit of a reputation as being a bit of a turd polisher bringing the best out of players who have shown a bit of something earlier in their playing careers, and Naylor certainly falls into that category, so, you never know we might still have a player here, but not for me, especially with age against him, I think he's 31 now and when he was on top of his game it was his "zip" and abilty to get up and down the flank and effectively overlap his with his left side midfeilder that especially stood out, I'd be surprised if he's still got the legs turn back the years now.
