IMO Whitts has been difference in 2 home games when moved to central midfeild with great distrubution, drinkwater to give way
Cmon city dont let us down- on pat experience we will lose 1-0 with fuill house etc. hoping tommorow ius not the case.

Like many was surprised Gypes played in front of Gerrard in Sheff U game.
However at Burton game it was clear why - Gerrard has had a good summer with 2 many beers .
Clearly overweight and not fit as he was end of last season
Needs to get fit to get back

I'd go with that 11 although I think Whitts may start instead of Koumas, what a choice and that's without mentioning Burkey
Centre backs still worry me but I would agree that after Derby I would rather Hudson than Gypes who looked completely shot to me

I would have said Whitts but, after hearing that he's in talks with Forest, I think Koumas may start and be replaced with Burkey after about an hour. Like you say, what a choice!

I've just received information (Orange text update) that we'll be playing 4-3-3, which I think we have to with Bellamy in the team if we're going to get the best out of him. The text updates are normally very reliable

its a great head ache for dave jones to have with our midfield. do you think with all the quality we have though will dave jones still stick with his favourites.

I think we'll pretty soon realise that Whittingham became more effective drifting into the
middle of midfield because of all the ground Drinkwater was covering behind him.
Chelsea at their best were good because they had possibly the best holding midfielder
of the last 20 years in Makelele. Notice how Lampards goals have dried up a bit since
Makelele left.
DEFINITELY keep Danny in front of our defence and let big Olifinjani run the show
in front of him... the rest will take care of itself!!!!

The reason i would drop whitts is because he doesnt beat players on the outside whereas burke does and with the speed he has to go round full backs it means more service into the box for our front men!
