“I don’t see a lot of change. I was there yesterday and someone mentioned ‘oh someone’s making a £20m offer for Neil Etheridge gaffer. What do you think?’
“I said ‘I’d put him in my car and drive him there’.
“Any good offers for our players would be considered. If worst comes to worst and we went down you have to make a couple of changes. But if we stay up there will be nobody leaving unless we want them to go.”
Does speculation over players leaving risk being a distraction?
NEIL WARNOCK:
“Not for this lot no. If you were a bit higher up, but not this lot. The lads would soon be put in their place if they started talking about this that and the other. I would mention that one or two third division clubs will be interested!”
