Third goal should have been disallowed

Not making excuses as we were fairly beaten but the third goal which came just as we were beginning to get on top- at last!- should have been disallowed. Townsends shot flew straight past one of their attackers who was standing at least two yards offside. He is right in line with Etheridge and even moves so to ensure the ball doesn't hit him. I am not sure Etheridge would have got it anyway but that's not the point. It was offside even under the current bizarre interpretations of what constitutes offside.

Kind of decision a big team would get if goal was against them? And undoubtedly var would side with big club as well if goal was scored by them

As they keep saying on Tv “NEXT SEASON , VAR WILL........” Trouble is WE needed VAR this season !!
