Millwall have released five players following the end of the Championship season.

Jordan Archer, Tom King, Sid Nelson, Conor McLaughlin and Ryan Tunnicliffe have all been informed that their contracts will not be renewed when they expire next month.

David Martin and Lee Gregory, whose deals also end on June 30, have been offered fresh terms. However, the latter has informed Millwall of his intention to leave the club. Alex Pearce will join the Lions on a permanent basis from July 1 after his loan spell at The Den this season.

A club statement said: “Millwall would like to place on record its gratitude to every player leaving the club for their efforts and professionalism during their time at The Den, and wish each and every one of them the best of luck in the future.”

Sid Nelson's done well for Tranmere on loan so assume he will join them.
