Swansea City boss Graham Potter in the frame for Brighton job after Portsmouth visit
Swansea City boss Graham Potter remains in the frame for the Brighton managerial job after Chris Hughton was sacked on Monday.
The Seagulls have already made an approach to the south Wales club for Potter, 43, but were rebuffed by the club .
Since he emerged as the No 1 target for the role, the Englishman and Swansea have held lengthy talks about the future on Wednesday.
Potter, who has been in post for a season, is understood to have been seeking assurances over what the future holds at the club after enduring two difficult transfer windows at the Liberty Stadium to date.
Aside from this, Potter was pictured on the south coast on Thursday night at Portsmouth v Sunderland, but the trip is understood to have been a prearranged scouting mission.
