Ex-Leeds defender urges Daniel James to snub Man Utd

Aside from the Potter talk for a moment, there has been plenty of speculation about Daniel James’ future in recent weeks.

Linked with Manchester United, reports of an imminent move for James appear to be wide of the mark, but at the same time he does seem destined to leave the club this summer.

Now, ex-Leeds United defender Danny Mills has urged him to snub any potential move to Old Trafford.

Speaking to Football Insider, Mills said:

“I’m not sure it’s the right move for James, going to Man United with all the turmoil they’re in.

“Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez are all still there, so he would be competing for a starting place with them.

“There is disharmony and discord as well. For a younger player like James, he needs to go and learn at a different club.

“He’s a frightening talent and has made real progress in recent months but there would be better clubs for him to go than being at a big club like United, where he would be left out and not improve.”

I would love us to sign him

Not only is he is a very good player but it would really rile them up down west

The worst thing for him would be to go to a top 6 club , he should follow Brooks path and go to a club where he will play and develop
