Leeds target QPR man

Leeds United are interested in signing QPR playmaker Luke Freeman this summer.

talkSPORT are reporting that the Yorkshire giants are keeping close tabs on the former Arsenal youngster.

The 26-year-old scored eight goals for the Rs in last season’s Championship.

Tigers job latest

Rotherham boss Paul Warne is a contender for the Hull City manager’s job.

HITC Sport are reporting that Warne has emerged as a contender for the vacant post, despite his side suffering relegation from the Championship.

City are searching for a new manager following Nigel Adkins’ departure from the KCOM Stadium after 18 months in charge.

Bees reject bid

Said Benrahma of Brentford
Brentford have rejected a £9m bid by Aston Villa for Said Benrahma.

According to Sky Sports, the Bees value the 23-year-old around the £10m mark.

Benrahma scored 11 times and claimed 17 assists in 45 appearances for the Bees last season. Wolves are also keen on the striker.

Harris a wanted man

Football Insider are reporting that Kadeem Harris, a free agent after it was announced last week that he is being released by Neil Warnock’s side, is a target for Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday.

The forward made 15 appearances in all competitions last season for Cardiff, scoring one goal.

Wallace future

Lee Wallace will take a drop in his salary after agreeing a move to Queens Park Rangers this summer.

The Rangers defender, according to Football Insider, is set to link back up with his former boss Mark Warburton.

Wallace was frozen out at Ibrox last year, only managing 55 minutes of action for the Scottish giants

Millwall star signs new deal

Millwall midfielder Ben Thompson has signed a new “long-term” contract with the Championship club.

Thompson has played 106 games for the Lions since making his debut in a League Cup tie against Southampton in August 2014.

And speaking on the 23-year-old’s deal, Lions boss Neil Harris said: “Ben’s progression has been remarkable.

“Having a player who understands how to play as a defensive and attacking midfielder is key. You need players that can run with the ball and attack space - Ben gives us that dimension.”
