Jesus that's not good for them is it 
He did a brilliant job getting Charlton promoted with a good style of football, and got the fans back on board after all the discontent they've had with their owners. If they don't get Bowyer back for next season I can see things turning sour for Charlton and can see the fans turning on the owners again.

What the owners say make sense though. Probably the right decision for the club.

Yep, he's now signed the one-year extension and is stying at Charlton Athletic for the coming season (or until the club is sold subject to still being wanted)
Perhaps Mehmet (Dalman) has sent word out that he's on for a pay-rise when/if he takes over?
Still seems odd that he's being linked; unless he's a 'front man' for someone else?
Although no pauper, I didn't think had that kind of wealth (a £15m loss expected already in their first Championship season) but maybe he's good at spending other peoples money rather than his own?
