Millwall home Boxing Day, someone doesn’t like the old bill. What a Christmas they will have.

Very tough finish to the season
Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:15 am
those 3 games in last 4 games are horrendous
Derby home,
Boro away
Fulham away
We need to get in players pronto

Lets hope you're right but there are some big teams this season, will be harder than the last time we were there
Any of these could win the league and hit top 6
Fulham
Leeds
West Brom
Boro
Preston
Wednesday
Derby
Hudders
Outside chance - Luton

We will be promoted by then, just a matter of picking up a few points to become champions!!

Couldn't have been designed to be more awkward.
Hard games at the start and the end. We absolutely must start in the first minute of football and be at our best straight away because an ajustment period could leave us chasing points in the first 4 weeks.
The biggest danger is complacency

Nice set of fixtures. I'll be at Wigan! Can't wait!
Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:28 am
Neil Warnock: "I think the way the fixtures have fallen the first half of the season is the most difficult. If we can be up there or thereabouts around Christmas time it'll give us a good chance."
Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:31 am
I don't fear anyone, we will get 92 points
Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:32 am
nobody would have predicted Norwich/Sheffield United as the 2 automatics last season..its take it as it comes...

Agree about complacency. Neil won't have it though

If we're in top 4 mix around Christmas, we got a good chance to push on as I'm sure Vinnie T will give a war chest to spend in January if we're top 4

I agree.
I think we have the chance to get off to a flyer in August though Annis....on paper at least.
That's the beauty of the Championship - nobody can predict it

We've already won the league. Dont worry

Totally agree

I really hope some of this comment are being said tongue in cheek! We as Cardiff fans know all to well how tough this division can be. I'll be taking each game as it comes and hopefully we're towards the right end of the table come the end of the season

I'd forgotten how clustered the championship fixture list was!
Either Vincent Tan or Travelodge are missing a trick here...
It'll hardly be worth going home in between some games!
Thu Jun 20, 2019 9:22 am
How long before the fixture list gets adjusted for Sky?
No prizes for guessing Leeds are first up on Sky!

It'll surely happen and on the plus side, if Cardiff City are affected a lot, it means we are being successful
Sky are obliged to give at least 5 weeks notice to clubs affected by 'live' TV coverage, so plenty of time to adjust
I had a look to see if all games were to be shown on iFollow and this is what I could find...
Can I watch live games on iFollow?"EFL Clubs will be able to live-stream in the UK and Ireland any league match via their respective iFollow (or equivalent) service that takes place outside the blocked hours of 14.45-17.15 on Saturday afternoons and that is not broadcast live on Sky Sports."Does that stand for this season?
Thu Jun 20, 2019 9:35 am
Happy with that - I live in Wigan !!

didn't used to be, it gained 2 teams { 4 games } during the period the premier league was reducing from 22 to 20...
I would prefer 22 now but know many people like the extra night games..

We need to be in the top one at Christmas, and we can be because unlike previous seasons we have a very powerful machine for the Championship.
The time for reinforcement is now though, not the January window.
Two things to watch . Firstly ,as I said, complacency- we must give Wigan as much respect as Manchester Utd. Secondly we must make absolutely sure that our new midfield setup is functioning properly right from the start and that's why we must bring them in as soon as possible.
That said, we must also defend as if we've got Liverpool coming at us, because at this level that will equal clean sheets and that will equal the trophy.

Looking at the fixtures I might just make 4 or 5 of the midweek home matches, might have to get some saturdays switched so I can get a few more in
Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:16 pm
Tough end to season but really fancy us for top 2....couple more players in and Warnock will get em fired up for Wigan game ...hope we do our business quickly and get squad settled for long season
