Breaking: Championship Manager Sacked & Replaced

Nottingham Forest today Sacked Manager Martin O’Neil.

Sabri Lamouchi has been named as his replacement.


Nottingham Forest have sacked manager Martin O'Neill after just over five months in the job. The Northern Irishman, who won two European Cups with the Reds as a player, was appointed manager at the City Ground in January. His exit comes less than a week after assistant Roy Keane left the club.

Mate in work is a Forest fan and it seems the fans aren't that bothered. More annoyed at the fact they've left it so late, given pre season has just started.

Apparently been linked to a French guy that used to manage Renne and the Ivory coast

It's no issue, as it often happens; although we try to prioritise the first thread created though

Mid table finish for Forest this year imo. Im still of the opinion they should have stayed with Aitor Karanka who had them 8th in the league and 4 pts off play offs before he was sacked. I think over 2 years Karanka would have got them in the top 6 where as now I don't see them being anywhere near it.

There were rumours that we wanted him in January.

Agree he'd be a good signing at this level, but I think he's struggled with injuries recently.
