Jose Mourinho has turned down £88m (€100m) from Guangzhou Evergrande to become their new boss.

Sky sources understand he had the right to choose the duration of his contract and he was flattered by the offer but wants to continue in European football.
Mourinho met Met Xu Jiayin, billionaire chairman of the Evergrande group, in London.
Mourinho was also offered the China job after Marcelo Lippi left.

The bloke must be quite dedicated to this job to refuse such an offer... £88 million is a ridiculously high sum, it's more than the price of your average fighter jet, and even the most lavish of these villas in Nice costs a mere fraction of this.

It’s not like he needs the money.
Only wants to manage in the big 5 European leagues.
