Have to say the continual griping over DJ is amazing. Theres no way we would have got the recent signings without him yet people now griping bout Gerrard??

Look at what he's been acheiving under the ongoing crisis we've been through.

For god's sake show some respect and support the man, he's total quality and we'd be in the shit without him.

Without Dave Jones signings (apart from a few) we wouldnt survive as a club, he has kept up in the championship and has sold players on for profits.
I do disagree sometimes with his tactics however, but have always been a supporter of his.
How many managers would take the crap he does, although he's on a nice little wage.

How is Gerrard supposed to get in-form and back in shape without playing games? Even as some "overweight, out of form defender" as you put it, he is still better than Gyepes.

No the nature of football is to question, thats what makes it special.

On good form perhaps Gerrard is the best defender but we don't always know the in's and out's and sometimes we have to trust.

My point relates to perhaps DJ aint getting enough respect fir his influence on these signings and at a great time fot the club he should be cut some slack.

Dave Jones has put himself on the line I reckon. How can he possibly stay on if we don't go up this season?

i totally agree. i can't believe people are having a go at dave jones at the moment!! he is the reason why we have made all these signings. Koumas came cos he wanted to play for jones again and olofinjana and as dave jones said he has camped outside bellamy's house, so give the guy a break!!!!!!!!

A week ago we had 4 on the bench, we now have one of the strongest benches and its never enough, I totally agree, he aint been his best since the middle of last season, threw his toys out of the pram due to play off final, and dont give it that is thre reason we lost, I honestly trust Jones, I back him 100%

Gerrard had a brilliant spell towards the end of the season and was
very unlucky not to play at Wembley. But he ended the season as a
second choice Centre-Back.

Coming back after the summer in the shape he did shows a disrespect
to the manager, the club, and most of all to himself. He should have
been keen as mustard to prove a point

Give DJ the benefit of the doubt. Gerrard has to follow Darcy's role if he want to win his place back in the team. If GL is on his way, someone else will be sitting out too soon.
