Mon Jul 08, 2019 2:10 pm

When do we leave and when will they announce the travelling players? Next day or so surely? Could give us an insight as to the status of certain players....Tomlin, Bogle, Madine etc.

Who told you that?

I’m calling bluff  I’m sure tomlin and madine will be taken out unless Warnock is sorting deals for them to leave but I’m sure Tomlin will be staying. Connolly, Paterson and Bamba is reasonable as they all have long term injuries. But madine, Bogle and tomlin, hmmmm, I was hoping Bogle was going to get a chance

Bogle has gone over with the squad now, as have James Waite and the lad from Ireland mentioned in other threads, good luck to the youngsters, Hopefully Warnock gives them some game time to impress and get into the 1st team squad

When will they announce the whole travelling squad? If they are taking some youngsters I wondered if Sion Spence might go, or the young lad Mayembe.

Pre-Season Tour 2019: North America

Follow the lads every step of the way!

Just now

The Bluebirds fly out to San Antonio, Texas today as they begin their pre-season tour of North America.

A 21-man squad will take in in games against San Antonio FC (14th July, 1am BST), New Mexico FC (19th July 3.30am BST) and Real Valladolid (21st July, 2am BST). Click here for more details, including ticket info…

As reported by the manager earlier this week, Sol Bamba and Callum Paterson will not travel as they continue to recuperate from injuries incurred towards the tail end of last season. Jazz Richards is another who won’t travel due to illness, whilst first-team professionals Lee Tomlin and Gary Madine will continue their pre-season preparations in the UK.

Under-23 squad members Aaron Bolger, Ciaron Brown, Cameron Coxe and James Waite will benefit from the experience of being part of their inaugural first-team pre-season tour.

You can follow the lads’ progress via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and of course, here, via the club’s official website and App from today until July 21st. Highlights and reaction of each fixture will be available after each game, with indicators to official US broadcast live streams posted via our Twitter account ahead of each fixture.

US-based Bluebirds wishing to touch-base with the team outside of the matchday environment are welcomed to join the squad at their San Antonio training base at Toyota Field (TX78233) on Monday, 15th July. Training times will be posted via the club’s official twitter account over the weekend.
