Totally agree with original post.

Cost cutting will catch up with you eventually. In the media Warnock, Dalman and Choo etc will say it's 'sensible' business and will bang on about net spend.

The facts are though they've downgraded the quality of the squad to save money.

Nobody young premier league players want to join on loan becuase of our dated long ball style and Warnock wont play any academy players.

It's all looking a bit grim.

cityone wrote:As i have stated on previous posts, simple maths show that we lost 3 midfielders in the summer and only replaced them with 2 midfielders, so we were already short before we kicked off this season, in general warnocks transfers have been poor to shocking, we have nobody in the middle of the park who has the vision to split a defence with their passing and we sriously lack pace throughout the squad, as for bacuna, how on earth has warnock given him a four year contract is beyond me.

We actually do have a player in the middle of the park to split a defence, Lee Tomlin. We also have plenty of pace in the squad in Murphy and Whyte but he didn't play either of them.To get picked you have to run round a hell of a lot, nothing else really matters.

might be worth, if he doesnt trust tomlin, sticking the likes of murphy in the number 10 role, his pace will cause defences to man mark him,

How the hell can anyone blame this mess on cost cutting the manager has been given funds and assurances but still went down the bargain aisle, the buck stops with one man here folks let's not start raking over old coals just to defend the so called Sir Neil.

16th then three seasons rebuilding imo.

Cityasone is spot on.

Just on numbers we are down. We can debate the quality and whether recruits are good enough is matter of opinion but we don't have enough bodies in midfield or RB. Still.

Bacuna is a disgrace of a signing and to think we signed him when we were focused on PL survival is laughable.

Ralls an honest enough player but to think with Pack out, who was only signed on last day of window, Ralls is all we have in there puts us in real difficulty.

Madine, Bacuna, Cunningham.. that’s £14M, less than 20 appearances between them. Little wonder Vincent won’t stump up any more. That’s s shame, because with a couple of quality players it could be so different.
