Jazz Richards and Matt Connelly

Can someone confirm, I was under the impression that both of these players were out of contract last June but both are still at the club

They was no way they would have played enough games last season to trigger an automatic renewal so were they both offered new contracts by the club??

If so this is another bizarre decision by our transfer committee to resign 2 permenatly injured players??

Can anyone confirm if this is actually the case??

I think the time has now firmly come when serious question are asked about not only those two players, but many other who have been recruited for no apparent reason.

They have only played 14 games between in the last 3 years!!!!!

I kept saying the year we were promoted it was very odd that Connolly was given a new 2 year contract, made no sense but others kept saying it made sense because Warnock liked having him around as back up to the back up. To me it was obvious he was never going to get near the squad.

It was reported on Walesonline that Richards was given a new 1 year deal last summer, I cant get my head around that one especially when it was painfully obvious we needed a new right back.

Very odd, so they have the same agents?

Both situations baffling.

The waste on players that don't play is beyond comprehension. And we don't have any money. Or a RB

Yes, I agree this is strange. That said IF we could get (And keep ) Jazz fit, then he is a shoe-in for this team. Possibly the best full back that we have!
It would be interesting if someone could throw in Madine and Tomlin and work out how much they have cost in Wages for the last 3 years v number of games played. (Albeit I appreciate we loaned out the last two for some of the time).
On the other hand we allow Damour to go when the midfield is threadbare and (mostly) no better than him.

I believe Matt Connolly is going down to the beach today with Lee Peltier and Aaron Bolger to meet fans.

So he's still doing his bit for the club.

Is Connelly being groomed for a coaching role ?

in fairness Jazz did turn out for his mates 5 a side team at play football a week or so before we toured.
