Fair play to him, nice one Nathaniel

Felt really bad for him, spent about 40 minutes unable to run. Hope keeping him on won’t have any long term consequences - we may as well have had 10 men on Sunday anyway

This is giving a pretty big indication of why we were so bad.
If he was a passenger for some of first and all of 2nd half we were trying to play ‘catch up’ with 10 men. Right CB moving further right to cover full back and the rest of the defence (including Bennett) being pulled across. This coupled with Packs injury sort of explains it.
Before any replies say ‘Warnock fault’ it sort of explains how disjointed and disorganised the set up looked and DOESNT mean that the players looked ‘unfit’ or ‘disinterested’ as suggested in other threads.
I was as frustrated as anyone on Sunday and I’m sure the players were too so let’s get right behind the manager and whatever team is put out tomorrow.
Remember , ccfc is for life, not just a few games

Credit to him for posting that.

He was clearly not ready to return yet though.

The issue is Murphy rarely tracks back, and makes the wrong decisions most of the time in attacking situations.

Warnock fucked up making 3 changes before 2nd half which ment laing couldn't be subbed

Think NW was making a point at half time with using both remaining subs.
Seemed a rash decision and unlike him

Very poor decision, especially with Pack already off and knowing NML wasn't fully fit.
