Hospitals are not always right

Who the hell do the hospital in question think they are, stopping the parents from doing everything they possibly can to save their child's life even if it is a very small chance.

Simple solution here, just have the parents sign a contract saying they cant sue the hospital or any of it's doctors if the child dies while being moved.

That would be to simple but would stop these long battles with hospitals acting in what's best for children been fair few in recent years! Also the cost of moving them to another country should be bourn by the parents not the hospital trust.... can understand them trying every thing in their power for their children but sometimes emotions get the better of sound judgement, what concerns me more is this hospital in Italy it seems to be getting involved in such cases from UK more and more is there a reason why they can do more than a uk hospital? Normally its cancer that can be treated overseas not medical conditions like this.

I know it sounds a bit grim but they possible could be after their organs, they're very hard to come by especially for children and the girl in this situation would be a perfect fit for organ donation.

Scary thought but hard to believe that they can treat a physiological event like bleed on brain? Like said cancer is generally only time going oversees can work because of machines not available in this country! But we are slowly catching up on places like usa regarding such treatment... all that this hospital is doing is giving false hope to parents and wont be surprised to see it promising more parents they can treat the untreatable and see more cases like this....
