Garry Monk confirmed as new Sheffield Wednesday manager. Sheffield Wednesday have announced the appointment of Garry Monk as the club's new manager. Monk replaces Steve Bruce, who left Sheffield Wednesday to take charge of Newcastle United at the start of the season.

That’s another potential rival for play offs going to take a dive in form (hopefully)

Well he always seems to be in demand, it’s his fourth job in the championship in 30 months!

Apparently hes had 5 championship clubs in 5yrs that takes some doing?

Amazed he's been given the job or taken it for that matter after all the dodgy dealings and stuff that's surrounding him atm. A lot of former clubs aren't happy with him
