Huddersfield Town have confirmed former Lincoln City boss Danny Cowley as their new manager.

Cowley is expected to arrive at The Terriers with brother Nicky as his assistant.


It comes just weeks after Lincoln knocked Town out of the Carabao Cup in the run up to former head coach Jan Siewert getting the sack.

The deal with Cowley was thought to have fallen through towards the end of last week but they re-emerged at the weekend and have now been confirmed.

This could well be this seasons Nathan Jones leaving a successful Luton Town who were top of league one to join a basket case Stoke City
