Josh Murphy?

Josh Murphy?

On his day, Murphy is in the top few most-talented wingers in the division, but his days are so few and far between.

Another player, like Mendez-Laing, City fans were desperate to see tear up this division but it hasn't proved to be the case thus far.

He has zipped past defenders and looked incredibly dangerous at times, his goal against Fulham was also expertly taken, but there is no escaping the fact he has so much more to offer and it needs to come to the fore soon.

Murphy after the International break needs to be at his best :bluebird:

It’s great to see a change in his attitude since the Huddersfield game, that night he didn’t track back and went missing for long parts of the game, since then though he’s been tracking back constantly, even had a pop at Joe Bennet for not defending too at times, seems like he’s got his issues sorted and wants to play, hopefully he can carry on with this new attitude

Both have been massively underwhelming and have been a huge disappointment when you consider what they're capable of.

If there is one part of our squad where there is real quality it's out wide. However, those quality players are not delivering as much as they should.

Our wide players are not delivering.
There is quality there somewhere but not seeing anywhere near enough of it.
All four lack a final ball and/or a good cross.
The mindset appears to be drive in and get a shot off regardless of options.
I think it's telling that none of our wide players are trusted with delivery at dead ball set pieces which appear to be the preserve of Ralls and Bennett who are hardly Whitts And McPhail.

Both Murphy and MDL been very disappointing this season.
Attitude lack of fight unlike the rest of the squad it’s as if they don’t want to be here.
