I've always felt for someone so big he isn't very dominant even against the smaller players.

When Flint first joined, he did well and appeared to be our best player but now I fear he's not even our best defender

you've got to put in the other attributes that comes with bambas game though, manga was my favourite player a cracking defender at that but look at the way bamba galvanises the defence hes a proper leader and his last ditch tackles and composure on the ball is sublime dont think we'll ever get such a passionate player again

I agree mate, Bamba’s passion is second to none. Tbh they are both very different defenders and we were lucky to have both for numerous seasons (and to still have Bamba)

I agree mate, Bamba’s passion is second to none. Tbh they are both very different defenders and we were lucky to have both for numerous seasons (and to still have Bamba)

Bruno was always going to be hard to replace. As for Junior. I thought he was ineffective first half but showed his experience when we were managing the game time in the second half. He just about redeemed himself

Flint spent many seasons in Championship but yet to be in a side that reaches the playoffs. Think only finished top half twice. Not good enough and nowhere near Manga. Mboro must have thought it was Christmas when we came along with £6 million.

Def need quick centre defender in Jan window that's for sure

Not having that about Hoilett. He put a shift in again tonight, his tracking back and his defensive cover goes unnoticed and he's always willing to put his body on the line, a couple of times again tonight he made last ditch challenges. Yes his shooting was a little bit wayward and some of his final balls weren't great but he's found the corner of the net and found a blue shirt in the box with a cross on plenty of occasions this season. Lack of end product tonight maybe but he certainly was up for it.

Flint, Peltier, Pack, Hoilett, Paterson, Morrison quite simply to slow for the kind of football I want to see from our team. But Harris has inherited them and has to work with them for now, yes Flint and Hoilett were poor tonight, Pack, Peltier and Bennett disappointing too, but we won an ugly match, a good sign and will take that big time

I actually said before the game that a pairing of either Nelson and Morrison or Nelson and Bamba would provide a better balance in the middle

Not particularly knocking a solid Flint but a combination that involves him and Morrison is proven to be too samey and I'm not sure Bamba will be able to do the running to make up for what lacks in Flint's 'traditional' style

I said to my mate, is Hoilet even trying? body language and all sorts pointed to not bothered.

Flint had good spells and bad spells I thought, but I would still go with Nelson + Mor/Bam

Garbo game tonight, but at least we walked away with 3 points. Was hard vs Stoke + Officials I thought, think we had 2 decisions all game? Missed the ball go over the line twice, numerous pushes in the back, foul throw all sorts.

Tonight wingers did nothing really, im struggling to remember most the game. We had 2 or 3 phases of brilliant play then nothing. But to be fair, Stoke had most the ball and just went side to side doing nothing.

Even Though Nelson Done Good I Would Love Morrison Back In Action.

Well they still have contracts with us,they are not Warnock's players (yet) why do you use capital letters on each and every word on your posts Sam?

Plus then losing Gunnerson who whatever you say did the job he did well and we lost 2 centre midfielders
we had on loan who good midfielders and we didnt replace very well sadly.

Flint looked good at the start of the seasaon but have to agree time for a change now however I feel Nelson has done enough
to be in the team as he will get just better with more experience
