That was the best of VAR in the Leicester v Everton match.

Who says it ruins celebrations? Amazing scenes at Leicester as the goal was given.

Correct decision as well.

The flag was up when he scored, but he was onside and you play to the whistle.

They should do it a bit like cricket. Each team have 2 or 3 reviews of the VAR if they defiantly think a decision has gone against them. This would avoid VAR checking every single thing and avoid the wasted time. If you use one of your reviews and the decision is overturned from the on field referee then you keep your review, otherwise you lose your review

or do it like 99% of football and not have VAR..
at last they got one correct.

Also the pen that was given but replay shows never touched player so var overturned it..... but what I fear will happen is var going back several moves bit like rugby because in that incident they were reviewing if player was offside earlier nothing to do with the penalty incident.... also need sort out var and encroachment in box or could end up with pen getting taken 3 or 4 times! Still dont want it though :old:
