Striker Lee Gregory set to join Stoke exodus and team up with former boss Neil Harris at Cardiff
By Joe Bernstein

Cardiff City boss Neil Harris is interested in a reunion with Stoke City forward Lee Gregory after their success together at Millwall.

Gregory, 31, is one of a number of players who could move on from the Bet365 Stadium as manager Michael O'Neill looks to reshape his squad.

The striker helped Millwall reach the FA Cup quarter-finals under Harris last season.

Stoke have already allowed midfielders Badou Ndiaye (Trabzonspor) and Peter Etebo (Getafe) on loan with Cameron Carter-Vickers returning to Spurs after his loan spell in the Potteries.

England goalkeeper Jack Butland and midfielder Joe Allen are available at the right price and the club will also listen to offers for Ryan Woods and Josh Tymon.

Striker Tyrese Campbell has been linked with Celtic and Rangers.

Not too sure about this one in either manner; City showing a genuine interest or if he'll be good should it happen?

Along with other 'linked' players, it does appear to show our direction this transfer window and that in itself doesn't inspire confidence :(

You can say it doesnt inspire confidence just like the football we play atm we ain't going get top 2 that's for sure we be extremely lucky to get playoffs so I'd love to know what sort of players do u and the rest of the fan base think we will attract to the club or sign someone on here last week mentioned dwight gayle what would he cost minimum 10mil if not more so it will never happen

I don’t know this player but 31yrs old?
I thought we were trying to build a squad for the future.

Hopefully all bollocks!

We are building for the future. A mid table future with a half empty stadium.

31 years old? :o :o

We'll probably offer £7m and give him a 5 year contract.

If w resign him it will be another example of how recruitment is completely wrong at this club. Another old average player. Also in a position where we already have a lot of players. We need a winger and a CM.

I disagree with that, a win today puts us 2 points off the playoffs with 20 games to go .

If we make the right signings we can easily make that top 6 which let's be fair is very weak this season

Sounds like another from bargain basement , looking at brentford yesterday with fast young side dominating the play thats the sort of players we should be investing in for the future we keep going down the same r with30 year old plus players.

TVB

Because we are supposed to be building for the future with a new young dynamic side "in my dreams" but we are looking more like a retirment home for ageing players who we cannot move on and keep adding more of the same.

Is this striker worth looking at another over 30 and any better than madine ? Surely there is some young fast striker we could source from somewhere with our new scout on the look out.
