VINCE ALM:

Really good support today even during that first half which was even dire by my low standards.

I'm not going to dig out individuals but there were some senior players appearing to go through the motions that first half. No urgency no desire and second to everything.

Whether they like what is going on in the club or not they are still professionals. South Wales is a working class area with the average wage 250 to 300 a week. We turn up in numbers week in week out forfeiting many things to attend and cheer them on. Many of them go to work every day to places and work with colleagues they don't like. They have to go to survive and get a fraction of what those on the pitch earn.

Football players lead a privileged life and earn good money the least they can do is stay professional.

All we ask for is effort and show that you care, that first half some of the players appeared to show neither. We know you got it don't become to big for your boots and become big time Charlie's that didnt get you promoted effort and teamwork got you there.

The 2nd half was much better and looked a lot more promising.

It's not all about you it's about the squad the club and the fans who give so much to sing your name and cheer you on.

Man of the match today the Cardiff city Supporters

I have to agree with vince there completely

Hasn't this been the case more often than not this season?

Vince is the most glass half full guy I know. For him to start questioning the team things must be bad.

Re: Vince Alm:

Same can be argued about our fans at home games. Good one half crap the next. Away support is always good.
But at home it can be dire, only one end tries to make a noise the rest is rubbish.
If away fans make a difference as implied by some why are we so shit away from home?
As for Harris how do you judge a man on players he never signed? Warnock brought in at least 3 when he started, and most were his by the end...

For Vince Alm to be saying this it just shows how poor we are under Harris

Stop twisting it back on harris
Vince never once mentioned the manager
He was making the point about the players not giving thier all

Which I’m pretty sure is a reflection on NH

Re: Vince Alm:

To be fair to vince he very rarely criticises the team and for vince to speak out he can’t be that far wrong

Re: Vince Alm:

100 percent agree with Vince. The 1st half was so poor I can forgive rubbish football as long as there is effort. The players for what ever reason were not up for it 1st half. I'm glad they turned it around 2nd half as if it continued they would have wanted to exit the tunnel quickly

Disagree with away support as always good. Its decent most of the time but there have been a few poor games away such as Swansea town.

As for home games they really need to move the away fans nearer the canton. It's the only way we will generate a better atmosphere. They just dont wanna fork out for extra stewards and police. The club have constantly been trying to improve our image over the years.

Away fans drown out the family stand so much they cant hear the canton half the time. Canton and away next to each other would create an infectious atmosphere.

How many grounds are the away fans not next to the "noisy" end. Not many

he brought in 4 players who didn't have a club, 2 of which were on 3 month contracts..

Yes that's my point untill Harris get some of his own in ,it's hard to to judge him.Warnock had the opportunity almost straight away.

Exactly my point. Manu liverpool and villa are decent atmospheres. Fulham brentford and qpr noisy sections are not by away fans. Reading have only just moved their noisy section this season. Poor comparisons really.

Think you'll probably find that longstanding Man Utd fans say atmosphere there is poor these days too.

Think it also helps when grounds are nearer capacity than ours has been this season.

Smaller attendances in larger grounds leads to much wider gaps between home and away fans wherever they are.

Fulham are rubbish example, not sure there are even any noisy supporters.

Everton are good example but again ground always 99% full.

The moment you've got a quarter of the ground empty, let alone more, you're going to struggle to have the atmosphere you'd like.

Re: Vince Alm:

You've obviously never been to Fulham as its just about the most sterile atmosphere in British football
