Strange about keough?

I was watching sky sports news Monday and Mick mcarthy was saying about keough and he said there was interest in him from clubs but they would not loan him only sell. If he didn't sell he would be in thier 25 man squad and would stay? I wonder what has changed that in 48 hours?

it's a loan to buy deal. If we go up we have to buy him.

that doesnt make sense to me coz if he has a good season and we do go up then why wouldnt Wolves want him back ?

Yeah it doesn't make much sense does it? They probably need to shed the salary to get someone in and this was the best offer they had, like we do with Ross.
Once you sign the contract it doesn't matter if he scores 8 goals or 80
if we can stump up whatever the contract says (apparently 2.3 mill) by the deadline at the end of the season then he's ours.
