Bagan hasn’t really put a foot wrong in the 1st half and doesn’t look out of place either, can’t believe it’s taken this long to start filtering the youngsters through,

Really? NH had to find his first 11 first. One step at a time. Hopefully he brings some more young players in th summer.

Puskas taken off

@ReadingFC make a double change at the break: Aluko & McCleary replace Puscas & Adam.
The #Bluebirds are unchanged and lead by one. We're back underway. (1-0)

More silky interplay after the break from Cardiff. This time Vaulks is found 25 yards from goal but his effort flies over.

We’ve just signed a left back on loan but hopefully this lad will not be ignored if he proves good enough.
What’s the good points Chris? Is he solid defensively or supporting attacks?

Goal! Bluebirds!
A super strike from Robert Glatzel sees City increase their lead, as they take a grip on this tie

Glatzel
What a finish that was, but it was all about the ball from Will Vaulks.
The midfielder bends one over the top with the outside of his boot and right into Glatzel’s path. The German takes one touch and slots superbly past Sam Walker. Excellent goal.

Glad RG got a goal. He’s come in for some unfair stick imo

Etheridge saved well and a solid display from the City keeper
Kicking very well tonight, too!

A good period this for Reading. McCleary shoots from the edge of the box, but Bamba throws himself in the way and it’s a corner.

Jazz Richards flies into a tackle on Osho, but the referee brandishes only a yellow card.
