Lee Tomlin sends four-word message after Cardiff City’s win

Sun Feb 09, 2020 12:18 pm

Cardiff City beat Luton Town 1-0 in the Championship yesterday.

Lee Tomlin scored the winning goal in the second-half yesterday. The 32-year-old netted his seventh of the season, and third in his last four games to give Cardiff a much-welcomed win on the road.

Neil Harris’ side are now 8th in the Championship table and only four points off the top-six, as the ex-Millwall manager looks to mount a promotion push in his first half-season at Cardiff.

After the game, Tomlin posted a Twitter message on his Instagram (see below):

He’s always been a fringe player at Cardiff but this season, particularly since Harris arrived at the club, Tomlin has arguably been Cardiff’s best player.

Having scored some hugely important, match-winning goals this season, fans believe that Tomlin can be the man to take them into the play-offs.

It’d be a huge success for Harris take achieve such a feat, after taking charge of a Cardiff side who looked bound for a bottom-half finish in their return from the Premier League.
