absolute fukin Mayem during and after the game.
i remember len ashurst coming over to the cardiff end trying to calm the fans down, and some fans started throwing bricks at him , from a wall that the city fans had kicked down. then one of our fans run on the pitch an kung fu kicked a police dog.
there was fighting like fuk outside too .....

Yes I was there with my bdad and brothers. I was 8/9 years old I think one of my first away games. I remember Basil kicking a ball over in the warm up and catching the ball, and it was flat! The violence took my fancy and I watched that more than the game. I think we one 3-1. I remember the undercover copper arresting someone and thenm he came back in and was carried out on a stretcher, I think it was on the front page of the papers. My oldest brother ran across the pitch to get home for night shift as it was late, as I type this he was probably going outside for the ruck! Great intor to City away games. What a shit away end.

Yea few of the lads were in hereford end before match and got escorted over . Outside was a car show room and windows got battered . Took ages to get home as cords were pulled on train all the time then met by old bill at station ......that was my second away match !!! Was 16

Hereford used to be a mad mad trip always mayhem with fighting everywhere always a good turn out by City

got my first section 4 after this game , after an incident in the car park with some ginger hereford fan

that was the Welsh Cup game on a Thursday night around Easter I seem to remember , my last away trip in a transit van from Aberdare Bakers Ford that was . Was a bit naughty down the front of the away end when somebody opened the gate and then the Police with the dogs intervened , never seen so many advertising boards being removed either , in similar fashion to Pompey 's clock !

When was the Hereford trip where we we 3-0 down after the home leg of the Welsh cup semi final?

A few of us went and there was some fun that night. Think we won 3-1 but went out on aggregate. Or am I imagining it. What do you remember about that night mower?

That was in 1990, Hereford was always a good trip

My favourite was 1992 game when we must have had at least 5000 there 2000 hadn't paid as they had forced their way in, The Hereford fans in the terrace next to us shot accross the pitch when the first city fan appeared in their end, at the end the home fans were kept in so we could leave first!

remember it well. 0-0 .got locked up that night sharing a cell with about 8 other city,my mate climbed the grandstand roof and nicked the flag and threw it down to us.coppers had a right kicking that night.chucked me out 3'am and i didn't have any money left so had to thumb home.managed to get a lift of some lorry going to newport lucky enough.started to thumb on the motorway back to cardiff when i got picked up by old bill and gave me a £10 fine for being a pedestrian on the motorway,but he gave me a lift back to cardiff anyway.
