It's great that he's finally found some form but it seems like a bit of a coincidence that he's playing better just as Celtic came sniffing around.

If that was the case he would have been busting a gut in January.
As ive always said he is our best winger but he is a confidence player, he needs to gets a run of games and hit some form to be a top player
No matter how well he played previously under Warnock you could guarantee he would get dropped soon after.

There has been a distinct evolution in the game plan.
Paterson isn't a genuine striker and is happy coming to the ball and causing trouble, this leaves space for Murphy and Adomah who are genuine forwards. With Tomlins ability to pick as pass it looks quite threatening.
Paterson has made a difference, he may not be a conventional striker but he is doing a decent job.
