Omar Bogle debuts against Dutch giants

Omar Bogle to Ado Den Haag was one of the most curious Cardiff City transfers of the January transfer window.

The Dutch club, who have former Newcastle and Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew in charge, swooped in for Bogle late in the window as a number of players were snapped up from clubs in the UK.

And the Bluebirds striker, who is on loan at Den Haag until the end of the season, started his first match for his new club last weekend against Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven, having come on for the last 19 minutes of the previous match against Sparta Rotterdam.

Bogle was brought in and started up front alongside Crysencio Summerville, however Den Haag were thrashed 3-0 in front of their home fans.

He had three shots, two on target but just couldn't get on the scoresheet as he searches for his first goal in Den Haag colours.

With his contract up at Cardiff City at the end of the season, it appears unlikely we will see Bogle in a Bluebirds shirt again.
