1. Carl Dale
2. Phil Stant
3. Jason Perry
4. Peter Whittingham
5. Sean Morrison

A lot of the players above were at the club when I was young and at a more impressionable age, which is probably common for a lot of people. Supported since 1988.

Take my pick as a pinch of salt, I've only support City for 8 years. I'm a late bloomer. So from my perspective this is what my outlook of personal legend is.

I must ask, a legend doesn't have to mean you've been at the club for a long time right? Because I'm including some "Possible" legends based off fan reaction and how I can see them being looked at when they leave us or retire

Peter Whittingham
David Marshall
The fan reaction to Lee Tomlin even when he doesn't contribute (I.E the promotion season) is unlike anything I've ever seen, so if he continues to play like he has done for another 2-3 seasons, I see no reason why he can't be a legend.
Callum Paterson is certainly on his way IMO
Sean Morrison I think is underrated by a few even suggesting he should leave if we get promoted, which I completely disagree. I think with the right center half partnership he can be as good as anyone would be for us in any league.

Actually you may have hit on another talking point. Hero's/legends in more recent times?

Firstly, has to be the whole team of 1927 (wish I was at Wembley then) :bluescarf:

Clarke / Toshack (Brill partnership)
Evans / Alston (brill partnership)
Phil Dwyer (Mr Cardiff City)
Peter Wittingham (Mr magic)
Paul Went ( Tank Centre Half)

Undoubtedly most gifted player - Dave Bennett (but not here long enough)

Admired - Andy Legg and Alan Curtis (for making it down the road and doing a great job) :o

Talking about Paul Went as a tank of a defender - Just found this quote from him in the Robin Friday Book.

Normally legends are those that have retired and then the fans class if they are a legend or not
