Not being to clever with computers and such,is there anyone out there that can start a petition, to the Welsh assembly to repeat the call for NHS volunteers here in Wales? ? As in the last 24 hours 405,000 have registered, but it's only for England!! In these testing times, our NHS needs help, help from us the public.volunteers can sign up to one of four specialist fields, food supplies to NHS workers, delivering medical supplies, taking patients who can be discharged home, and be a telephone volunteer,to talk to those who are in isolation, take down their needs,ie shopping, prescription pick up etc etc,we cannot sit by and wait, action is needed asap,I tried to sign up this morning, only to be told it's not cross border! It's England only, contact my local council! ! For the first time in my lifetime,my country needs me,I don't want to sit around, when I can be helping in the best way I can,I hope someone more savvy than me,can get the ball rolling, cheers guys, stay safe. :old: :bluebird:

Cheers,I will do,my post was aimed specifically at the NHS scheme,as I want to take food to the staff who are rushed beyond.hopefully a few others will see your post, and mine, and sign up.I will check out the cardiff and Vale one again,as I did try yesterday, but kept getting rebuffed, saying my email a dress was invalid! Have had the same problem with council websites, for paying a pnc,and trying to arrange collection of bulky waste! Same problem, invalid email.thanks again :bluebird:

I take my hat off to you! Thank you for helping us in the NHS when we need it most. You don't know how much it means to have people like yourselves stepping up to the plate.

Thank you! :ayatollah:

You are more than welcome  the more people that can take a little of the strain off the NHS the better.I grew up looking at the old "your country needs you" posters and used to wonder what it must have been like in the 2nd world war,how scary it must have been, well I believe them posters should return, get people signed up,the more the better.I suffered a broken neck in 2012,I owe my recovery, and where I am today to the NHS staff at the heath,so it is the least I could do,to pay a little back, to show some gratitude, and also help others besides.but I doff my cap to you,and All front line workers, may you all stay safe, whilst looking out for others. :occasion5: :ayatollah: :bluebird:
