UK are including care homes.

What about Spain.

I have seen several reports including a couple from the Financial Times stretching back to the middle of last month thst Spain was still not including care home deaths ( the forecast the FT made in the middle of April was that Spain's true death total then was at least 27,000,possibly over 30 000)

England has the worst excess death rate - the number of additional deaths above the annual average - in Europe during the coronavirus outbreak

By TIM STICKINGS FOR MAILONLINE and REUTERS

4 May 2020 |

England has had the worst excess death rate in Europe during the coronavirus pandemic, according to an EU monitoring project.

Excess death rates show how many more people have died than would usually be expected for the time of year.

The figures are seen as a clue to the number of 'hidden' coronavirus deaths, with official figures almost certain to be incomplete.

Many countries have seen a spike in excess deaths during the pandemic, but figures collected by EU-backed database EuroMOMO show England performing worse than Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or any other European country.

UK Now way above average and looking to be the worst in the world not including USA when hopefully all this ends.

Other countries advised the UK weeks in advance and it was ignored by the UK Govt including many Uk citizens totally ignoring what was going on in the other countries.

UK needed to have a proper lockdown.

Police 'fighting losing battle' over lockdown as 'hundreds' gather for picnics in east London sunshine

BY STEPHANIE COCKROFT

The Evening Standard

Sunday 10th May 2020

Police say they are "fighting a losing battle" over enforcing the lockdown after "hundreds" turned out in parks across east London to enjoy picnics in the sunshine.

Officers in Hackney said groups were gathering in the borough's parks to have "pizzas, beers, wines", despite social distancing rules and calls from the Government for people to stay at home this weekend .

It comes after the Coastguard said that Friday had been its busiest day since lockdown began , with 97 call-outs, compared to the average for April of 63.

Boris Johnson is due to outline potential changes to the lockdown rules on Sunday, but has insisted any alterations will be "limited".
