Helston Athletic were leading their division before the season was made void.

They'd saved around £6,000 from internal player fines to have a big promotion party.

With the season cancelled, they've donated all the funds to the local hospital and food bank!

Great gesture!

Then surely all the Bigger clubs, every Premier League Club Def can.

Not a chance the bigger clubs will do this. Players are still complaining about not receiving bonuses never mind their £100,000pw wages

Perhaps a lot of football fans will realise that Prem footballers are spoilt brats and the real heroes are the ones in the front line in the NHS.

Players at Barcelona FC have agreed to take a 70% pay cut during the pandemic and pay contributions to ensure non-sporting staff receive full wages. Catalonia, Madrid and the Basque region are Spain’s virus hotspots.

Brilliant by them.

These smaller clubs care about more than money, as long as they have enough to survive. They have heart as well.

The elite clubs care only about money and how they look on the stock market.

Was thinking exactly the same, could be like our friendship with Chasetown thing. Isn't it funny how the small clubs can point the way to the so called big clubs in situations like this?
