Another example of the standard of Terry Phillips reports(or

Fri Aug 27, 2010 11:57 am

I know there must be some difficulty if the club refuses to speak to the Echo/Western Mail (I think the club should be less childish , rise above the personality clashes involved and invite them back in to press conferences by the way) , but this morning`s Echo is yet another example of a slapdash article attributed to him.

Terry speaks about Keogh playing a part in tomorrow`s game and of Koumas starting on the bench. Yet neither are included in the squad which appears directly alongside the article. And he also doesn`t seem to know whether its the January or August transfer window.

Poor quality again - maybe the Echo should just revert to printing direct from the transcript of Annis` mobile phone conversations  For the cost of a cup of coffee or two , they could save a reporter`s salary :D

A shame really - when I read his ratings of players from the previous day's game, he is the only one of the Echo/W Mail reporters who seems to have been to the same game as me.

I try not to get too paranoid about it, but some of the Walesmedia journalism leaves a lot to be desired. And does nobody proof read before publication these days?
